Together with the Bering jacket, the Baffin bib is an excellent alternative to a one-piece suit for high altitude expeditions. Moderate technical climbing is possible due to three separate compartments on the upper panel between the legs, which allow for bridging without running the risk of ripping your pants apart.
The fully separating side zippers provide for ventilation or suiting up without removing footwear or other clothing and the drop seat is perfect for answering call of nature without much ado. Maps and other essentials can be comfortably stored in the spacious zippered outside front pocket, and the reinforcements on seat, knees and lower legs make the Baffin strong enough to withstand all the abuse of typical expedition life.
