The Thor NEO uses the fundamental anatomical baffle design from the Shocking Blue bag, featuring an identical foot box, draft collar and hood design that has been in use with great success for several years. Professional field testers and experienced outdoor and mountaineering users rated our Shocking Blue’s limit of comfort at -25°C (-13°F). This temp range is great for most, but for extreme missions, it might not cut it. 

So with the Thor NEO, we upped the ante.

We took the Shocking Blue NEO and gave it a 60% increase in baffle height and down load, keeping the generous inside dimensions identical. In order to keep the total weight and pack size down, we decreased the zipper length from 69” to 53”.

The result is a bag that remains spacious and comfy, but keeps the climber warm at temps as low as -45°C (-50°F). The Thor NEO also offers a high-tech foot box, draft collar and hood design with a total weight of 1,871 g (66 oz).
